1. School Leavers
Apprenticeships often appeal to school leavers as they offer an extremely practical approach to learning. Whilst some students may excel in examinations and written tasks, there are many that would rather be assessed through practical work.
Trade apprenticeships are beneficial to school leavers as they can gain direct experience within a real work environment. This is great for employment and for developing general life skills such as time management, communication and problem-solving.
Also, trade apprenticeships are great for employment retention. One study found that a whopping 85% of apprentices stay in employment, and 64% of these continue working with the same employer.

University graduates may opt for one of our fast-track apprenticeship courses if they wish to upskill from their current degree, and it's an opportunity to earn while you learn.
