This is effectively a foundation-level carpentry course, and it’s perfect for people who wish to complete domestic carpentry jobs in their own homes or advance on to an industry-level trade course.

Who should enrol?

This basic carpentry course was developed with beginners and novices in mind, so just about anyone can enrol. Even if you have never picked up a hammer before, we will help you to become a competent carpenter, capable of carrying out numerous different tasks around the home.

Candidates who successfully complete our Carpentry Essentials Course will be awarded an Access Training certificate to confirm that they attended and completed the course, thereby acquiring a solid knowledge of domestic carpentry and joinery.

If you’re looking to earn a formal carpentry qualification, our Professional Carpentry Course is recommended.
