Where does the training take place?
The core of the course (i.e. the practical elements of your training, the theory assessment and practical assessment modules) are taken at one of our fully-equipped Training & Assessment Centres.
The theory part of your training is completed live online through our bespoke learning platform, Access Training Online. This means you have round-the-clock access to training materials no matter where you are. Plus you can repeat the training in part or even in full as many times as you wish for up to three years – even when you've successfully completed your training and become qualified, you can still brush up on your knowledge online.
We have students who study in the comfort of their own homes, on the way to work, on longer journeys, during break times whilst on site or even beside the pool when on holiday. It’s your resource that you can access anytime, anywhere.

How long does the training take?
The length of your training programme is very much dependent on the individual course and on how quickly you want to progress. Our years of experience have taught us that everybody is different and people learn at different speeds.
Each course has ‘Guided Learning Hours’ stipulated by the awarding bodies such as City & Guilds or EAL. However, we go way beyond that and give you 36 months of access to the training – which should be more than enough time for you to complete even the longest course.

What guidance and support do you offer?
Our dedicated Career Support Team are available to answer any queries during normal working hours. Our expert tutors and industry professionals are also on hand every day throughout the year, and you can contact them via live Internet chat through our Access Training Online portal once you’ve enrolled onto your course.
How soon can I start my training course?
As soon as you have enrolled on a course, our Career Support Team will issue you with your login details and ensure that you can access our online learning platform. If you wish, we can provide a tutorial, showing you around the system to demonstrate how it works.

Why can’t I find any course prices on your website?
We know that everyone is different, and this is why you won’t see any individual course prices on our website. Our training packages can be uniquely tailored to every individual in terms of attendance dates and what's included – put simply, we do not put individual course prices as there a number of different variables that affect our pricing.

This does not mean we give you the most expensive course; it means we give you the course that is best suited your career goals. We also have seasonal offers that vary throughout the year.

Am I guaranteed to get a job / interview after my course?
We do not guarantee that you will get a job, and we do not guarantee you an interview with employers after successfully achieving your qualifications – no reputable training company would promise this.
However, we can guarantee that certification opens doors to many possibilities, giving you opportunities to stand out from the crowd which you might otherwise have missed out on.

Their estimates are based on up-to-the-minute information regarding the type of courses and careers that may be of interest. What cannot be stated, though, are the rewards from self employment – the potential for this is up to you!
Is the training entirely online?
All of the theory and revision elements of the course are delivered online. The practical and assessment modules are not. These are intensive, hands-on sessions that build your practical skills on top of the theory that you’ve already learned; no need to waste time learning theory in a training centre.
