Requirements & Outcomes

Some basic knowledge of electrical principles and experience in electrical installation is recommended for this course.

Successful completion of this course will provide you with the Level 2 Certificate in Fundamental Inspection, Testing and Initial Verification. As stated above, this qualification is perhaps best known as City & Guilds 2392, although we do provide this course in association with other awarding organisations as well (if you have a preferred awarding organisation, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you).

You should come away from this course with a good foundation in electrical inspection and testing, getting you ready to work at industry standard. The next step for most of our learners is to enrol on the Initial Verification course, which will qualify you to work on both single phase and three phase installations.
