Who is the Premier Gas Course for?

The Premier Gas Course itself is open to all, even those with no prior gas or electrical experience required.

By covering a number of different units and allowing candidates to spend plenty of contact time with tutors, this programme aims to turn absolute beginners into knowledgeable gas experts who are ready to embark on an exciting new career.


Candidates who enrol onto this course will work towards the following qualifications:
ACS CertificateThis qualification is a legal requirement for all gas engineers and will allow you to become Gas Safe-registered.
Part P Domestic InstallerThis qualification covers the electrical knowledge necessary to wire in boilers and upgrade timers/electrical controls on existing appliances. You will also be able to install and maintain a variety of electrical circuits.
18th Edition Electrical Wiring RegulationsThis qualification demonstrates that you are competent in using the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.

This course begins with a managed learning programme, after which you will embark on a work placement with a professional gas engineer. During your placement, you will gain essential evidence towards the completion of your portfolio; however, you will need to undertake further work in order to complete the portfolio (this will be discussed and detailed fully prior to enrolment).

After you have completed our Premier Gas Engineer Course, the next step is to join the Gas Safe Register. You may also choose to undertake further training that will help you to add additional trades to your skillset.
