Who can enrol on this course?Our kitchen fitter training course is open to all. Even if you have no experience whatsoever, our tutors will help you to master the basics before you move on to increasingly advanced techniques such as cutting, installing and finishing. You must be over the age of 18 to enrol on this course.
QualificationsCompletion of our kitchen fitter training course will earn you the following qualifications:
Level 3 Certificate in the Building Regulations for Electrical Installations in DwellingsThis certification qualifies you to install and maintain a variety of electrical installations, including lights, sockets, cooker circuits, consumer units, and full house re-wires.
18th Edition Level 3 Award in the Requirements for Electrical InstallationsThis qualification will stand to confirm that you are familiar with – and have a good working knowledge of – the current wiring regulations and their application.
Domestic Electrical Installer Certificate (DEI)Designed for operatives who carry out electrical work as a secondary task to their main profession.
Progression Routes Once you have completed the kitchen fitter training course, your tutor will be more than happy to discuss your ambitions with you and recommend further training routes to suit your goals. While this course is a superb starting point, you may wish to undertake further training programmes and gain more advanced qualifications before beginning your new career – this will give you a competitive advantage over other kitchen fitters.
