City & Guilds 6129 Level 3 Certificate in Domestic Plumbing

Course overview
The City & Guilds 6129 Level 2 provides the underpinning knowledge requirements and a portfolio of evidence to progress onto gaining an NVQ Level 2 in plumbing. The Level 3 is a more advanced qualification that is designed for students wishing to progress beyond an NVQ Level 3. It is a well respected qualification within the industry that proves to a potential employer that you have the knowledge and technical requirement to perform plumbing tasks. It can be studied either on a full time and part time basis and can be completed in blocks of training and assessment to suit you.

Traditionally, colleges would deliver this qualification for adults looking for a qualification to break into the industry, but the college method of learning proved to be too long and laborious for students who wanted to get into the industry without delay. Now this Level 3 qualification is delivered by Access Training as a flexible and intensive course that allows adults learners to complete the qualification without any pressure whilst maintaining their current working or family arrangements.

This course gives the student a full understanding of the knowledge and skills to work in the plumbing industry. The City & Guilds 6129 course directly leads onto the Level 2 and Level 3 National Vocational Qualifications (NVQs) in Plumbing and Domestic Plumbing (Mechanical Engineering Services). The course is practical based for teaching and for assessments and also includes online multiple-choice assessments that helps learners to follow a clear progression route and achieve full professional qualification in Plumbing.
Who is this qualification for?

  • Work with an experienced plumber to gain further experience.
