This course is designed for experienced electricians who wish to gain their Part P and 18th edition qualifications so as to install, inspect, test and certify electrical installations in accordance with the current legislation.

Who is this course aimed at?

This training course is geared towards candidates who already have some electrical knowledge and experience under their belts. You will need to have an understanding of fundamental electrical principles and testing and inspection procedures; you will also need to be familiar with electrical test meters and how to use them, as these will be used frequently during your 18th edition / Part P course.

If you have no prior electrical experience, you may wish to consider enrolling on our Part P & 18th edition Course for Non-Electricians.

What qualifications will I gain?

Candidates who successfully pass this course will receive two qualifications:

  1. Part P Domestic Installer This certification qualifies you to install and maintain a variety of electrical installations, including lights, sockets, cooker circuits, consumer units, and full house re-wires.

  2. C&G 18th edition Electrical Regs This qualification will stand to confirm that you are familiar with – and have a good working knowledge of – the current wiring regulations and their application.
