The City & Guilds 2392 Fundamental Inspection & Testing Course

(City & Guilds 2392-10, Fundamental Inspection & Testing, level 2 Certificate)
Course overview
The City & Guilds 2392-10 Fundamental Inspection & Testing Course is a qualification that is designed for those electricians who aspire to attain their 2391-10 Inspection and Testing as it is one of the most highly regarded qualifications in the industry. The course itself is specifically designed to prepare delegates for the 2391-10 course which is notoriously difficult for most candidates to achieve. The 2392-10 is designed for practicing electricians and electrical professionals who do not regular test and inspect but would like the skills to do so and to be able to complete written electrical installation certificates. The course refers to both Guidance Note 3 as well as the current edition of the wiring regulations throughout the course.

The course is designed for people who would like to carry out the initial testing and periodic inspection of electrical installations, for example issuing electrical installation certificates for Landlords as an example, and for those who supervise and want to become members of the NICEIC & ECA as a qualified supervisor.
Who is this qualification for?
The City & Guilds 2392-10 Certificate in inspection and testing (Level 3) of electrical installations course is aimed at practicing electricians who have not carried out inspection and testing as part of their work or haven’t done so since gaining their original qualification. It is also aimed at those who need further electrical training to achieve the qualification.

Other people who it may be suitable for are those with some or very little experience of inspection and testing of electrical installations such as plumbers, kitchen fitters, bathroom installers or landscape gardeners.

The City & Guilds 2392 Inspection and testing qualification is, in essence, designed to break down the mystery that often surrounds the Inspection and Testing subject. So if you are considering undertaking the full City & Guilds 2391-10 Inspection and Testing course, this foundation in inspection and testing has, as we’ve previously stated, been proven to greatly improve the candidates results on the 2391 Inspection and Testing course.

However, these are advanced courses, so it would be expected that candidates have a basic knowledge and understanding of electrical principles and terminology as the City & Guilds 2391 and 2392 qualifications, are difficult level 2 and 3 qualifications and therefore it is assumed that you already a level of competence in electrical installation.

In summary, it is suited to those who want to able to carry out inspections and testing of their own work in industrial, commercial and domestic premises and who want to give themselves the best possible opportunity to successfully pass their 2391 Inspection & Testing course.
You will gain the highest standard of achievement
The City & Guilds 2392-10 Fundamental Inspection & Testing training course provides delegates with thorough and intensive tutoring that gives the delegates the knowledge to be able to undertake the 2391-10 Inspection and Testing course by using typical and often found every day scenarios. The final online and practical exam is the culmination of this course with the remainder of the course covering the technical calculations and the underpinning knowledge required to gain a complete understanding of the inspection and testing processes; a significant amount of time is spent teaching the candidates these elements.
