It is designed for adults who want to undertake roofing repairs and improvements themselves, but do not have the knowledge, experience or confidence to carry this out. You will be able to achieve skills that you didn’t think you could before attending this course. All candidates can receive a certificate to confirm their completion of the course if they so wish. • Replacing Slates
• How to measure and mark up accurately
• How to set out and fix battens
• How to replace damaged felt
• Inserting a Velux window
• How to install Dry verges and cladding of fascias.
• Installing uPVC fascias with uPVC capping.
• Installing uPVC soffits including ventilation soffits

Guided Learning: 5 days After this course some students also undertake other short courses to build on their knowledge and others decide to go on and complete a full qualification in other areas and go further with their training.
