Course overview
Our City & Guilds part-Time Multi-Skills course is designed for those individuals who have a busy schedule such as current work or family commitments and therefore cannot attend a full time intensive course. It is extremely flexible as it can be attended in blocks of on-site specialist training attended at our training centres that can be driven and scheduled by you. We do not have specific term times for this course as you decide when attend your training.
The course is suitable for anyone wishing to cover a broad range of subjects, become a handyman, acquire the skills of a domestic builder or just gain all encompassing valuable DIY skills. Whatever your reason you will find our courses both personally rewarding and unrivalled in its coverage and range of subjects.
The course consists of a series of practical workshop modules with the emphasis being on practical training and improving your hand-skills as quickly as possible; all you need is the desire to learn and our experienced tutors will teach you all you need to know.

Instruction is carried out by experienced craftsmen with many years of combined practical experience meaning you can be assured that you will leave the course qualified and fully equipped with the level of skills and confidence that you need.
Students will achieve the City & Guilds 6218 qualification covering subjects that include: Plumbing, Plastering, Carpentry, Bricklaying or Painting & Decorating. The City & Guilds Multi Craft award is a fully accredited training course that allows you to cover a number of these subjects in detail leading to a City & Guilds certificate confirming your qualification as a Multi Skilled tradesperson.

We provide all the tools and materials that you will need.
Progress routes
After this course some students decide to go further and undertake the EAL Part P Domestic Installers electrical qualification and go on to qualify to install new domestic installations. We recommend that completing both these courses as a complete package ensures that the student has the practical experience needed to take on most property development work. This provides students who successfully complete both courses with a good grounding and the ability to carry out domestic properties safely and within the regulations.
Our plumbing courses also provide a clear progression route, helping learners to gain further more advanced skills in plumbing. Successful candidates also attend some of the following courses to increase their earning potential:
