Intensive Wall Rectification Plastering Training Course
(ATW Certificate if required)
Course overview
In our experience there are many different circumstances when a wall or ceiling is damaged, that doesn’t need completely re-plastering. This may be due to being damaged when removing old tiles, a crack has occurred or an accident may have caused some damage. This 5 day course is designed for anyone who needs to rectify these problem areas to complete another job or for anyone who wants the skills to undertake basic plastering and skimming techniques.
Who is this qualification for?
This course is open to anyone. It is designed for anyone, including practicing tradesmen who want to undertake small, quick jobs, but do not have the knowledge, experience or confidence to carry this out. The tutors delivering this course will share with you their knowledge from many years experience so you can learn the necessary skills to take on these jobs safely and correctly and to the right standard.
You will gain the highest standard of achievement
All candidates will receive a certificate to confirm their attendance upon completion of the course. It is also an option for individuals to sit an examination covering the aspects they have covered on the course, even though this course is non-accredited. This can be provided for delegates as an optional examination that can help those students who intend to progress onto other courses. However, delegates will receive a certificate accredited by Access Training. However, you will be working with one of our tutors in your own training areas and will receive training in the following skills during the standard 5 day course:

Progress routes
After this course some students decide to go further and undertake other more advanced courses to broaden their scope of work. We recommend that completing an extension of the course and gaining a City & Guilds qualification ensures that you as a student have the practical experience as well as theoretical knowledge of your work. This provides students who successfully complete both courses with a good grounding and the ability to carry out many tasks and increase their scope of work.
