3 Day Polished, Venetian, Marble Plastering Course

Polished plastering is a special technique that gives a dramatic finish with many variations. And it has, over the last few years, become increasingly popular. Access Training offer this 3 day course that will give you the skills to be able to produce this specialised finish.

Polished plastering gives a series of very distinctive finishes which is why it is sometimes known as Marble Plastering or Venetian Plastering. These dramatic finishes are achieved by using different products from everyday plaster and include colour additives, marble flour and waxes. This leads to a finish with a fantastic, deep shine that once complete, can be regarded as a work of art with no need to apply any other finish.

It is a technique that is suitable for many situations depending on the conditions. However it is extremely popular in bathrooms and wet rooms as it can be completely water resistant and provides a beautiful unconventional option to the standard practice of using tiles. This course is designed for literally anyone. It is designed for anyone who would like to learn this specialist finish whether you are a practicing plasterer, tiler, interior designer or a keen protagonist of DIY, but do not have the knowledge, experience or confidence to produce this professional quality of work.

The tutors delivering this course will share with you their knowledge from many years experience so you can learn these specialist skills and you will learn at a speed that is comfortable to you as an individual.

You will also be able to take away the work you have produced to present to prospective clients and customers. These will become your ‘sample boards’ that prove your skills and the quality finish you can achieve as a craftsman within the customer’s home.
