Flexible & Part Time City & Guilds Plastering Course

(City & Guilds 6218 Award/Certificate)
Course overview
At Access training we fully understand that most of our potential students have busy, full lives working all hours, looking after families and simply do not have the time to attend a course even though they have wanted to attend various plastering courses for some time.

That is why Access Training has developed this bespoke course that gives the individual the flexibility to fit the plastering course of your choice around your current lifestyle.

The course is designed to be varied so it can cater for everyone. We run regular flexible attendance options designed for everyone, including shorter days schedules for parents who need to fit their training around school times whist still having the ability to learn all the hand-skills and gain the qualifications they need to either improve and maintain a property or ultimately become a plasterer.

This course can be tailored to suit the individual. If you are thinking of taking a short course and learning how to cover over the Aertex finish on your ceilings or you just want to learn property improvement techniques, then we will help you and advise you about your project. Please feel free to bring your plans/drawings along we can offer advice and guidance from the subject matter experts.

You may be keen at DIY or have previous experience of basic plastering, however, we assume at the start that you have never done anything like this before so you can learn at your own speed. Everyone picks up the simple techniques from the very start and those with experience can advance as much as they wish to.

You will eventually learn more advanced techniques that will allow you to add to your current skills or have a greater understanding of the quality finish you will need to produce to become a Professional Plasterer. This course is designed to give you the confidence to use the techniques you learn in practice.
Who is this course for?
This course is designed for literally anyone. It is designed for adults of any age who want to learn the valuable skills of plastering, but do not have the knowledge, experience or confidence to start plastering and to work safely. The tutors delivering this course will share with you their knowledge from many years experience so you can learn the necessary skills to take on these jobs safely and correctly and you will learn at a speed that is comfortable to you as an individual. The course is attended when you tell us; you can separate each week of training by many months, to fit around your work holiday schedule fro example.
You will gain the highest standard of achievement
All candidates will receive a certificate to confirm their attendance upon completion of the course. It is also an option for you to gain CAA accreditation although this plastering course can also be accredited by City & Guilds. Please speak to one of our Course Advisors for advice on which is the right course for you.
