Course overview
The WRITTEN EXAM part of the City & Guilds 2391-10, Inspection and Testing course is held frequently for practicing electricians who require this element. The written examination paper currently has 20 short written questions and 6 long written questions and is designed for experienced practicing electricians.
Who is this qualification for?
The City & Guilds 2391 qualification, is a level 3 qualification and therefore it is assumed that you already a level of competence in electrical installation. It is suited to those who want to able to carry out periodic inspections in industrial, commercial and domestic premises. However, if you are not practiced in Testing and Inspecting or are not familiar with the processes it is recommended that you consider attending the City & Guilds 2392-10 course, Fundamental Inspection and Testing as this course provides the ideal foundation for learning the inspection and testing process and it has been proven that it will vastly improve the candidates results on the City & Guilds 2391-10 Inspection and Testing course.
You will gain the highest standard of achievement
The written exam requires the candidate to be fully acquainted with the safe isolation of electrical equipment and other aspects of working safely on live electrics. All City & Guilds 2391-301 practical assessments are closed book assessments with this one being 2 ½ hours in length.
Progress routes
After this course most students undertake the City & Guilds 2391-20: Certificate in the Design, Erection and Verification of Electrical Installations, to go further with their training. If this is the case than we recommend completing both courses as a complete package ensures that the candidate has the practical experience as well as a thorough knowledge of testing and inspecting electrical work.
