Course overview
This is a very useful, short update course for busy, practising experienced electricians, needing to update and refresh their Inspection & Testing skills. If your Inspection and Testing skills are a little rusty or if you are a practicing electrician and have been busy working in other areas, which we find is frequently the case, then this course is designed for you. It will cover any areas of Inspection & Testing that you would wish to brush up on including completing certificates and the Inspection and Testing processes involved plus any other area that an experienced, practicing electrician requires.
Who is this qualification for?
The City & Guilds 2391Inpection & Testing qualification, is a level 3 qualification that should already be held and therefore it is assumed that you already a level of competence in electrical installation. It is suited to those who want to refresh their skills and be able to carry out periodic inspections in industrial, commercial and domestic premises. However, if you are not practiced in Testing and Inspecting or are not familiar with the processes then it is recommended that you consider attending the City & Guilds 2392-10 course, Fundamental Inspection and Testing. This course provides the ideal foundation for learning the inspection and testing process and it has been proven that it will vastly improve the candidates results on the City & Guilds 2391-10 Inspection and Testing course which you will advised to move onto.

Progress routes
After this course some students choose to undertake the City & Guilds 2391-20 Certificate in the Design, Erection and Verification of Electrical Installations and go further with their training. If this is the case than we recommend completing both courses so that you have the practical experience as well as a thorough knowledge of testing and inspecting electrical work including the design process invloved.
