Course Overview

This short Part P course will enable you to carry out domestic electrical work safely and proficiently. You will also gain a solid understanding of the relevant electrical regulations, helping you to ensure that any work you undertake is fully compliant.

Part P of the Building Regulations came into force in 2004, setting out new standards for electrical safety requirements in dwellings. If you wish to complete any electrical work in a domestic environment, it is crucial that you complete a Part P electrical course; the skills and knowledge taught over the course of this training programme are applicable to all trades, including:
  • Electricians
  • Plumbers
  • Heating engineers
  • Builders
  • Property Developers
  • Kitchen Fitters
  • Landscape Gardeners
You will be taught by expert electricians with years of professional experience, who will ensure that you have a firm grasp of each area covered.

Who is the Part P course suitable for?

Our Part P electrical course has been specifically developed for candidates with little or no experience of electrical work. It is ideal for anyone who wishes to carry out domestic electrical work; if you intend to start a new career as an electrician, Part P is one of the ‘benchmark’ qualifications without which you will be unable to proceed.

What qualifications will I gain?

Candidates who successfully complete our Part P course will be awarded the Part P Domestic Installer certificate to confirm that they are capable of installing and maintaining a range of domestic electrical systems in compliance with Part P of the Building Regulations.

The Part P electrical course also includes a foundation electrical training element that is designed to equip inexperienced candidates with a basic knowledge of electrics.
