Designed as stand-alone courses for anyone who wants to gain the basic DIY skills for improving or renovating the home. This can include any area, from papering and painting techniques through to learning techniques that are more advanced including stencilling or marbling effects. After this course some students also undertake other short courses such as the plastering course to build on their knowledge and others decide to go on and complete a full qualification and go further with their training.
