What will I learn?
The units covered on our bricklayer course are as follows:Understanding the construction of foundations and interpreting drawings
Understanding the construction of internal and external walls
How to construct thin joint masonry for use with concrete and steel-framed buildings
How to plan and erect solid walling to a required specification
How to erect isolated and attached piers to a required specification
How to set out masonry structures
How to set out regular-shaped masonry structures on level ground
Planning and erecting cavity walling and forming openings
