Property Improvement Army Resettlement Courses - Armed Forces Resettlement Training
Those who have lived in rented accommodation or married quarters, haven’t had the need (or had permission) to alter and maintain their home. Therefore they haven’t acquired any home maintenance and renovation skills and find themselves eager to move into or renovate their own property.
But they are often reluctant to tackle any jobs without any training or to pay expensive labour charges. With this in mind, Access Training offers a Multi Skills course which covers Carpentry, Plastering, Tiling, Bricklaying and Plumbing that provides the student with all the skills required to maintain or renovate their own home.
However, this armed forces resettlement package often doesn’t suit an individual’s specific needs so after discussing what they require, we produce a detailed training package to suit armed forces resettlement training requirements. For instance, we can build an electrical training package into the course which includes recognised qualifications enabling you to safely and professionally carry out domestic installation work in the home.
Or if you have a project planned, we can discuss what skills you will need from your training package and develop a training plan around this. For example, we have previously built a student’s proposed house extension as part of his armed forces resettlement course within the training centre so they could practice and develop the correct skills.
We offer resettlement training in the following disciplines:
- Property Development and Maintenance army resettlement courses
- Electrical Installation army resettlement courses
- Plumbing army resettlement courses
- Plastering army resettlement courses
- Carpentry army resettlement courses
- Kitchen Fitting army resettlement courses
- Bathroom Fitting army resettlement courses
- Tiling army resettlement courses
- Bricklaying army resettlement courses
- Gas Engineer army resettlement courses
We have successfully trained many service leavers on army resettlement courses over many years and our feedback from our graduates has always been superb, with many returning at a later date for further courses.
